Unobstructed, fog-free vision

Not only can contact lenses improve vision, but they will also allow greater enjoyment of sports and other physical activities.

Without frames to obstruct your field of vision, contacts can open your eyes to a world of possibilities. Fog-free and distortion-free, a contact moves with your eye, freeing you for your favorite sports or physical activities. Gone are sweat drops, mud splatter, or frames digging in the back of your ears. Tennis anyone?

Multiple available options

Following a thorough examination, Tyler Eye Associates' therapeutic optometrists will recommend the lens best suited to meet your specific vision needs. Options include soft, gas-permeable, extended-wear, disposable, and bi-focal. There are others, but a doctor will discuss with you the pros and cons of each option.

Fitting contact lenses

For comfort and vision reliability, measurements are critical to a proper fit, including recording the curvature of your cornea and documenting the size of your pupil and iris. Doctors will also evaluate your tear film and take a closer look at your eye’s surface. Only if contacts are right for you will they be prescribed.
